In order to obtain your High School diploma from George Westinghouse High School, you must accumulate at least 51 credits distributed in the following areas:

            English                                         8 credits
            Social Studies                             8 credits
         Mathematics                               6 credits
            Science                                        6 credits
            Foreign Language                     2 credits
            Technical Concentration          14 credits
            Health Education                       1 credit
            Art                                                1 credit
            Music                                            1 credit
            Physical Education                    4 credits (7 terms are required)

As an incoming 9th grade student, the following exams are required to earn a Local
Diploma:

               English Regents                                 65%
               Math Regents                                     65%
               Global History Regents                    65%
               United States History Regents       55%
               Science Regents                                55%
              
In order to obtain a Regents Endorsed Diploma, a grade of 65% or higher is
required on all exams. 

For Advanced Regents Diplomas, the following additional exams are
required:

                Math Regents        (different from the one above)            65%
                Science Regents    (different from the one above)           65%
                Comprehensive Technical Exam                                           65%
